MyoSolutions is an evidence-based orofacial myofunctional program that has been used clinically for nearly three decades by speech-language pathologists.
The program was originally designed to target organic speech sound disorders, mainly lisps, stemming from underlying orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs).
Since its creation it has expanded over the years to include all four MYODomains of 1) airway, 2) feeding/swallowing, 3) structure and 4) speech. It can be used by a variety of licensed professionals who have the assessment and treatment of OMDs in their scope of practice.
What makes MYOSolutions unique, is that it targets oral resting posture, nasal breathing, oral placements for speech, oral habits and the oral phase of swalloing in one comprehensive program.
